2 Fully Funded Expansions
Unity Care NW (UCNW)
Their first 100% funded expansion was a medical and behavioral health expansion.
The second was a new adult dental wing.
Funding included a federal (FIP) grant and foundation grants, researched and written by Gib Clarke .
Here’s what UCNW’s Executive Director says about working with Gib on this project
“Gib was handed the reins to a capital campaign in his first months on the job. He assembled a Campaign Committee which reached into the community, tracked down and applied for foundation grants, and wrote the #1 ranking grant to the Washington State Department of Commerce.
A couple of years later, the Board didn’t hesitate to authorize a second capital campaign under Gib’s leadership. To support our capital projects, Gib raised over $3.7 million to improve and expand our facilities.
Gib led other important projects as well, including the re-naming and re-branding of our organization, forming our first Development Committee, and creating our first annual fundraising campaign.
All of this work was on top of Gib’s leadership on researching, writing, and reporting on our HRSA and other grants.”
